Can't imagine that a fire can burn an island like this?
Can't control without rescue? Is it because there are not enough manpower, or is there no plan to rescue them at all?
Just because this is an island, the fire cannot spread, and the damage is limited?

Sirens not activated, why? Tested every month and none of us that woke up early Sunday to sirens and message of incoming ICB missile attack will never forget. Police vehicles using loudspeakers to inform public to seek shelter immediately. People, mostly visitors were locked out of stores seeking refuge.

RIP to fallen and their families. They deserve answers why no sirens alerting to immediate danger

Sad to see all this destruction by fire so close to an ocean of water. Would it be feasible in the future to have a salt water fire main system powered by alternative energy sources ?

Yes, it is isolated as an island. Planes and boats/ships can access it, though. Hawaii is one of the United States, treat this disaster the same way you would treat a disaster in louisiana, new york, or washington DC...get them all the help they need any way you can. The US has a lot of assets at their disposal. Use them!
