Prince Nymph Fly Tying Tutorial

The Bead Head Prince Nymph is a staple fly. It's long earned its place in the fly hall of fame. We use them often to fish in many of our small streams and tie them for that purpose. The ingredients are fairly basic and not expensive. If you've never tied one up you ought to give it a go! We give one easy crutch that will help your Prince Nymphs to look their best even after 20 fish munch on it!

This pattern is a generic imitation. I've mainly thought of the Prince Nymph as a stonefly imitation, but it could certainly pass as a caddis or mayfly. Perhaps, this is what makes this fly so effective!
