India was invaded by Islamic and British forces for centuries. We lost much, but survived. Now we are trying to stand on our feet again.

Namaskaram Im from India. Thank you for sharing the ancient facts about India. This video kind of disturbed me and made me cry because our European sisters had to bear the horrific torture of slavery . We Indians were prosperously attaining great progress in human consciousness and inner discovery thus giving birth to sages, saints, monks, different cultures, traditions and sects but when Islamic radicals invaded our country for 800 years we were tortured murdered raped by Islamic radicals converted by Islamic radicals followed by colonial British who did the same and looted 45 trillion from India.

Bijganit, or algebra, has a rich history of transmission from India to the Middle East.

*Indian Origins:*

1. Ancient Indian mathematicians: Aryabhata (476 CE), Brahmagupta (598 CE), and Bhaskara (1114 CE) contributed significantly to algebra.
2. Sanskrit texts: "Brahmasphuta Siddhanta" and "Bijaganita" contained algebraic concepts.

*Transmission to the Middle East:*

1. Arab merchants and travelers: Visited India, learned Sanskrit, and translated Indian texts into Arabic.
2. Baghdad's House of Wisdom (8th-9th century): Scholars like Al-Khwarizmi and Al-Kindi translated Indian works.
3. Persian mathematicians: Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi's "Al-Kitab al-mukhtasar fi hisab al-jabr wa'l-muqabala" (The Compendious Book on Calculation by Completion and Balancing) built upon Indian algebra.

*Key Figures:*

1. Al-Khwarizmi (780-850 CE): Introduced Indian algebra to the Middle East.
2. Al-Kindi (801-873 CE): Translated Indian texts, including Brahmagupta's works.
3. Ibn Yunus (950-1009 CE): Egyptian mathematician who built upon Indian and Arab algebraic concepts.

*Influence on Islamic Golden Age:*

1. Algebraic methods: Used for solving equations, algebraic geometry, and number theory.
2. Advancements in astronomy
3. Development of calculus: Laid groundwork for later European mathematicians.

*European Transmission:*

1. Arabic texts translated into Latin: By scholars like Gerard of Cremona.
2. Fibonacci's "Liber Abaci" (1202 CE): Introduced Indian-Arab algebra to Europe.
