Mine is not like this at all. The rod and the crankshaft assembly is different. Presently the crank does not extent so when I screwed the top to the pre-drilled holes the crank is stuck under the table and can't turn because it does not extend to clear the table...unless this thing does some magic thing I haven't figured out.
