Speaking as a game dev with some experience in making online games, it's likely an anti-cheat thing. By keeping stats and other character data on the servers instead of locally, the numbers are much harder to tamper with and if someone does tamper with it, they have evidence. The downside being that every time a calculation is made, a packet has to be sent and responded to

True, I’m on asia server and my ping is constant 325-400, the last time i cleared 36 abyss was on 3.0 and after that it’s nearly impossible for me to 9 star f12 because of the ping.

The first time I played this game, it was still 70-90 green. After several updates as well as signal changes, I now have 190 ping, often going higher or going to 999. It's really hard to hit the enemies. Especially when in the spiral abyss

I’m on EU and I didn’t even think that this issue was related to the server, instead my device cause’ I’m a tablet user, but it does explain how most of my friends and even people who casually use high end computers still end up with time wasted from enemies not appearing, etc.


The horrible ping is part of the reason that whenever I see people using bursts like Venti’s or Benny’s in showcases for domains and stuff, I panic and start immediately thinking about how much burst they just wasted…

When I m connected to a good network my lowest ping is usually around 350. I often play at a ping of 700 and the spiral abyss is always a nightmare

Tip for abyss if you have high ping: go into a menu like wishing, the map, etc. while enemies are spawning. It will spawn the enemies in but pauses the timer. You can use it between waves too.

I have TERRIBLE PING, I'll be doing domains in co op, and I just see the other people hitting air, plus switching characters is delayed by like 5 secs, which just fs up rotations

I live in Asia and my ping on Asian server is 300 while Hong Kong and Europe server gave 150-200 ping...

I live in asia and play on the asia server, it took me a while to realize i was supposed to pick eu but i was too far in the game to restart everything. The lowest my ping gets is like 250
