I am mixed with 3b hair and I noticed thinner ones don’t look as nice or maintain as well at least without rubber bands but if I make them according to my pattern which is naturally a bunch of medium sized coils on my head that they look half decent so I’d have to say thicker for my hair type personally but I always loved the way mini twist looked

I like micro twists. Which is a lot of work, but I have so much hair that it's easier to style it like that.

I prefer mini, I just feel like my hair turns out better in them. Currently have thicker ones in at the moment, when I restyle them I’m switchin to minis again.

Depends … I like to switch it up so my hair isn’t used to same sections or styles. If it’s a short term for sure thicker ones until I get my hair done. Mini ones to wear out for longer periods of time
