Suffering and heartbreak. Dehumanization of society.

Who the heck can afford this treatment? Sounds useful though.
I promised to myself I will not commit suicide no matter how bad the pain gets.

I don't want to put my precious daughters through the pain I felt/feel because of the suicideS of my friendS. Too many, too many. So much sorrow.

If you are feeling like checking out early, please get help. You are worth it.
Please be safe

Just as many people commit Suicide per year as we've lost to Covid so far. Now that's just sobering 😢

Mental Health Matters people! Don't be afraid to tell someone, don't suffer in silence. I've been doing Neurofeedback Therapy for about 5 weeks now and I've already noticed a difference. It's wonderful technology and the stats show it does work. I hope in the near future it becomes more affordable so anyone who wants or needs it will have access. 💜💙

Seek help! 🙏💜🙏 It's not a weakness...it actually is a courageous act. You are worth it! Counseling helped me for sure. I take meds, but every person is different

Growing up in Sparta, I was told that only soldiers could experience PTSD. Specifically armed combat. You could have depression from your parents hitting you, but not PTSD. Depression from a sexual assault, but not PTSD 🤔

I'd like to add here that with depression doctors often forget to do a full blood scan to check for infections.
I was given a massively destructive cocktail of "new style" meds designed to cure depression in the late 90's. Non worked.
They then moved on to anti psychotics to try and force it. It wasn't necessary. What did work was finding the infection in my jaw bone that had been there for years undetected. And my depression started when my tooth problems started, it just took me 25years to relate the two.

Please doctors check physical health properly before pushing people towards experimental meds.
I also know other people who have suffered similarly.
Thing is infections in the jaw can affect the brain quite dramatically.

Wishing all sufferers a quick recovery, and don't take my bad meds experience as gospel, they've made advancements now (quarter of a century later 😬) and it seems it wasn't what I needed to start with.
Depression is a trickster and a bully. Don't let it talk you down, it will become easier I promise, even when backed up by logical thoughts. You find other paths.✌️

I doubt it when robots will take away human jobs slowly over time; thus, leaving them poorer with too much competition. They can keep making ourself feel better but it won't change the situation.

i tried this and it hurt so much. I felt like I was being electrocuted. they said I am not the only one that cries throughout the entire session. what was worse, half my face drooped and went numb and my speech began the slur after a intense treatment and it took a long time to bounce back. be careful. they need more research on this.

This is literally electric shock therapy. Definitely seems safer and more controlled though.

We need more segments about Mental Health this country is lacking still in the knowledge of...horrible job by these 2 anchors. Him having to clear up anything or correct the narrative on a question that was more leading to a talking point is sickening. Military & Afghanistan are prominent so "Make sure you bring up PTSD even though we don't know if it really even applies".

Covid doesn't cause my depression. The slowness of Justice for Fascists, crooks, traitors, and violent white supremacists causes my depression. Also I don't think ALOT of suicide is "mental" disease but rather severe EMOTIONAL malaise due to realities in their world. Why do they not talk about this?

Jesus is your way to heaven, he paid the price for your sins. Once you believe you are sealed and saved forever. Salvation is a free gift.

First I'll start by saying am I the only one who thinks the doctor with his lethargic speech pattern is suffering from depression himself? 2nd is, if you really want the surge in suicide to stop, then why don't you stop the lockdowns and medical tyranny mandates⁉️. Do that and all goes back to normal. Not perfect....but at least normal. 3rd, judging from the hesitancy in his voice when talking about that ridiculous Contraption it's pretty clear that it does absolutely nothing but siphon off insurance money.

Remember the USA has a strong history of eugenics belief and mental health was seen and treated in the most horrible ways. USA has had it's head in the sand about it all for the last hundred years.

I've come from the wales UK where it's accepted that people quite commonly have mental illnesses and people all tend to care for each other, especially if someone needs mental health care.
Now I'm in Puerto Rico and oh my God it's like being in the past. Psychiatrists here are all ego driven and think they're lord's of the medical world. (I can't use the phone without knowing what's going to be said, I need to have the answers in my head beforehand or I get triggered extreme anxiety, 30years of being treated for it, it's pretty bad as It was medically induced) I can't get treatment because the one ("good") psychiatrist won't see me unless I call him to discuss it all first, he says I'm just not trying hard enough. In the UK he'd be struck off for treating patients like that. May just be racism there's quite a lot here.) They treat patients horribly, society in general here tends to avert it's eyes from mental health issues instead of embracing them as quite common human traits.
Take the blinkers off USA. For the love of God take the blinkers off and drop the shame, it's horrible. We're not in the 1900's now.
