Grant Gustin's fans are incredibly annoying and delusional. How so many people can complain about the fact that we got a great actor with a lot of range playing this character is beyond my comprehension.

I have nothing about Grant, I'm sure he's a really nice guy, but he's just not talented enough to play in a movie. I mean, the acting in CW's The Flash is average. Just like pretty much any shows on that channel. They are all teenage friendly actors who came from either Glee or Teen Wolf or stuff like that. They all struggle to pull it off when it comes to emotionally charged scenes. As far as acting goes, Ezra Miller is far superior and he proved it multiple times in the past. He proved that he is great as a joyful, charismatic character in The Perks of Being a Wallflower and he can even play a creepy psychopath if he wants to. He is incredibly talented.

Neither look like Barry Allen, but Ezra's physique is a lot closer to what The Flash should be like. You can tell that he trained for the role. He's gotten a lot buffer than when he was announced. Grant is skinny. It's not that important but it's easier for me to buy Ezra as a superhero.

Not even going to mention the special effects, Ezra's Flash clearly looks better. Also the suit. Grant's suit looks cheap. It's simple leather. I don't believe that this thing can protect him when he's running. Ezra's suit, however, looks a lot more practical. And even if you dislike it, it's only his first suit, it was confirmed that he would get a new one that doesn't look all patched together.

One thing that no one has ever brought up, or so it seems, is the fact that the show has always been in the way of the DCEU. Man of Steel came out in 2013, we knew back then that it was the first movie to start a DC cinematic universe. Obviously, Flash would've appeared someday. But the CW still made a TV show. It should've never happened, in my opinion. Not because of the corny writing and subpar dialogues, cheap special effects and average acting, but because The Flash was obviously going to appear in the movies. You can't just expect the movies to go along with what you did when that's clearly not what they have planned.

*TL;DR : Ezra Miller will be the better Flash and the show was a mistake.*
