Why the narrator can't pronounce most of the cities names?. What is so difficult so a professional voice talent to do it right? It is a farce.

I am not able to get through this video with the narrator pronouncing almost every City and State incorrectly. It’s like someone scratching their nail on a chalk board.

This information presented on this video was probably outdated when the creator made this video.
Currently, I'm in Centro, Merida, Yucatan Mexico.
While there are always a small handful of exceptions, as of July 2024, Mexico is no longer "cheap". In fact, with Mexico's increased standard of living and increased federal minimum wage, and the narrowing of the exchange rate between MX$ and US$, the cost of living in many places, such as the gulf coast of Alabama and the Florida panhandle are comparably priced to much of Mexico.

I think one of the best places to retire in Mexico is Chiapas.Chiapas has a lovely climate, is affordable, great food, lovely, friendly people . Also Todos Los Santos and Loreto in Baja California

Mexico is also part of North America. In fact, there is an economic treaty of North America and Mexico happens to be part if it.

I could have much more respect for this video if the narrator made a minimal attempt to pronounce the city names correctly. I found this excruciatingly annoying for not even trying.

These numbers are so inaccurate. Mexico City is one of the most expensive cities in the country. And the pronunciation of these cities is horrible. Do better and if you're going to speak on a place, get educated. And STOP using the term "cheap" bc it's not cheap for the natives.

Mexico has only a handful (few) safe places with low crime rate. 1) Merida, 2) Santiago Queretaro and 3) Puerto Vallarta area, 4) Monterey. Those are the safest cities there. Many US Expats also prefer Chapala Lake area near Guadalajara (Chapala, Ajijic etc.). However, those last places have no city life.

I have an honorable city. For me, I would move to Ensenada, Baja California. It's close to the U..S. border. 2 hours away to San Diego and 4 hours away to L.A. It has the same climate as southern California, it's cheap, it has beaches, port, many tourists, and many things to do. Since I'm a military Veteran, I can go to the V.A. in San Diego.

This is a fake video. The announcer cannot even pronounce the names of the cities properly.

I can't retire in Mexico They are now requiring $2500 up to $4500 passive income per month to qualify for a temporary visa or to retire there.

Any recommendations for neighborhoods in CDMX with neighborhood feel, appropriate for active retirees? Trying to avoid high rises and hipsters. I'm assuming definition for hipster online is correct: pretentious, fashion conscious, counter culture, liberal.

Haven’t mentioned the amount of money you have to have to retire here. A tourist visa, sure it’s easy. Residency - more challenging and financial requirements are actually quite high and go up dramatically every year. I hate to see the apartments you can rent for $200 in Oaxaca!

Can't believe that Guanajuato didn't even get a mention.
