When refs signaled Mavs timeout, the mistaken PA announcer said Mavs ball. The PA misled Dallas. Refs signaled Warriors ball (which is not on this video), then signaled Mav's Timeout.

Basically what happened was it was Warriors ball, but then the Mavs called time out causing the ref to point to the Mavs basket. However it was still Warrior ball and even before the dilemma happened the ref clarified twice that it was still Warriors ball. So the points were awarded and the Mavs were just not paying attention.

Edit: FYI The Mavs lined the warriors on the wrong side, so JP was smart saying "give me the ball" becuase he knew.

I saw this happen live, there was no confusion from anyone but the Mavs. Refs signaled the ball out of bounds to the warriors then signaled a Mavs timeout
