Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban said he plans to protest a two-point loss to Golden State after a confusing sequence led to an uncontested basket for the Warriors on Wednesday night.

Kevon Looney had an easy dunk on an inbounds play with the Mavericks lined up on their offensive end after a timeout late in the third quarter of Golden State’s 127-125 victory.

The Mavericks thought they had the ball after official Andy Nagy pointed in Golden State’s direction for possession but then quickly pointed to the Dallas bench to indicate a timeout.

The announcer said it was mavs ball not the ref ref said warriors ball time out Dallas when he pointed and also if mavs thought it was their ball why wasn’t anyone down the court to inbound the ball the ball went out under the warriors basket it’s the end of the thirst ball wouldn’t get advanced to the other side until the 4th quarter

Surprised Looney didn't kick it out to Lamb for a three.

That's usually what Dubs do when they get a wide open lay-up. 😅🤣

Okay fine, you think that’s your ball. And then you think the opposite team must inbound the ball to you so you can have 5 on 4 advantage (in this case 5 on 0)😂😂😂😂

Bro, the mavs literally had no one to inbound the ball😂 Also, they tied the game after that so it didnt even matter that much.
