Actually you can. With a modded set including an upgraded third party oled screen

ait so a drop in LCD to OLED conversion would likely be very hard. LCD draws a lot more power than an OLED and even if you could plug it in, you'll likely damage the OLED, and the display controller would also be unlikely to handle it. you'd need to either desolder the chip or use some sort of tag-on flex to compensate for the differences.

The cable you showed in the switch is actually for the Digitizer. The LCD connector is on the main board and is actually similar in size.

That is the touchscreen connector. The LCD connector sits underneath the game card slot.

Wanna know the funniest part? The Switch Lite actually can be upgraded to OLED since there's third party OLED screens made for it, or they're upcoming, I don't remember

You may. Just remove glass add OLED glass and add 32 GB SSD and done. Oh also buy a cover for kickstand which will make it like OLED kickstand. Enjoy.

well you can't upgrade to an oled switch panel but you can use an oled panel for the regular switch
