Health Check: Children's Eyes Health

A recent study conducted among secondary school students in Trinidad and Tobago has found an increase in the cases of Myopia otherwise known as near-sightedness.

Prevent Blindness, the United Nation’s leading volunteer eye health and safety non-profit organization, has declared August as Children’s Eye Health and Safety Month in an effort to educate parents and caregivers on ways to keep children’s eyes healthy.
