Photoshop has a Replace Color function. Just go to image>adjustments>replace color

Just turn the Pixel layer into a smart object and apply the sweater selection as a layer mask to a Hue & Saturation adjustment layer.

Far easier, completely non destructive and fascinatingly versatile!
