to be fair, the director also said that he changed some stuff without even asking Jensen, because he knew he would be too uncomfortable to do them, and he didn't want to make him uncomfortable because they are friends, so, it's just the give and take with hardcore shows like this, if an actor doesn't want to do a scene, they can change some stuff, but some things have to stay for the story.
