All my symptoms on my VW, I just replaced the part and it’s working fine. But I should have found this video earlier could have saved me some cash lol. Nice vid straight to the point and accurate. The black smoke was something I noticed a while back. Thought idle and no power it the pedal when accelerating.

Hummer H3 code is P0105 now, so I ordered a Map Sensor. I hope this fixes the rough idle/check engine light. I already changed plugs, wires, air filter PVC hose, Mass air sensor and cleaned the Throttle body. First code was P0305, now it's P0105. Trying to do the cheaper stuff before I take it to a shop. Wish me luck!!!

Thank you. I started my car today, went to a local destination (9 min. drive), and when I pulled into the parking lot and was on my brake, my car’s RPM was fluctuating between 1-3K. At stop signs and red lights, it was a terribly rough idle, such that I was hitting 0.2K RPM, nearly killing my engine while in traffic. I sure hope it’s the MAP Sensor that is causing all this; your video seems to be pointing to so.

'95 Camaro 3.4. 150k miles. I was struggling to figure out all the problems after replacing half the fuel and ignition system. MAP sensor fixed *all* of it.

All are actually great indicators. But the last one. Fuel comes out of your exaughst every time you drive. If you have black smoke it is most likely a manifold gasket leak. And needs to be taken to a shop right away before you cause permanent damage.
