they have announce 6 Euro cities to begin with. - : Alicante, Berlin, Copenhagen, London, Paris, and Tenerife.

In a bankrupcy, it is posisble to see strange things happen.

From what I have read: Michelle Ballarin (US Aerospace Associates) purchased assets from bankrupt WOW, including the brand, software, unifiorms and others. This is the one who then switched to wanting freight only.



Play is separately owned, funded, and apparently did not purchase assets from WOW, although it has hired many from WOW. Not clear if the aircraft they will operate will be ex-WOW, whether they bought the existing lease, or if lessor reposessed WOW aircraft and issued new leases to Play.


One would have to go through the WOW bankruptcy proceeding legal papers to see where its assets went. I suspect the small number of planes involved has more to do with the Wow planes filling in for grounded 737s and once the 737 is back in air, lessors will be willing to make them available to Play (and Wow which also seems to plan on having more planes later in 2020).

Price-sensitive customers are never loyal. This is the number one flaw with the LCC business model.

A smart airline offers an attractive, unique experience at a reasonable price, which is not necessarily the lowest price.
