The power system in one piece is pure skill, you can have an insane df and not utilise it, or have a terrible one and make it amazing. Also haki being the manifestation of the users will and strength is amazing

Nobody talks about how the jjk power system boosts damage if you reveal the workings of your technique, giving us a reason to have the characters fully explain their actions, and give the opponent a way to counterattack as a side effect/risk of gaining a momentary advantage. Also the black flash is literally just a critical hit so idc its an S tier power system.

Tbh my favourite is jjba cud it's got rules but so versatile and is more dependent on iq but nens the best power system but also like the black clover magic cus ruins r evening able 2 spend months on 1 attack and trap magic it keeps it fresh even tho it's a magic 1

One of my favorite power systems is the magic from Black Clover, because not only does it have loads of original powers, it also has a lot of room for growth for existing ones, and in a way, it perfectly mirrors the initial message of the show that not everybody is born equal, but we should still strive to be the best of ourselves. (something that MHA tries to accomplish, but fails miserably past the first season)

I don’t know much about domain expansion but I feel like I don’t like it because there is no counter play once an opponent has activated it. Unless you are stronger and just use your own domain expansion you can’t do anything. This makes fights just less interesting imo.

Nen was great, until it introduced "contracts with yourself" which gave an insane power-boost at no actual cost. Like forcing contracts onto other "but only use it against the spiders or die" is just stupid because without it fighting the spiders would be instant death. Meaning there wasn't actually any additional risk. Likewise Gon using it against Neferpitou to win an otherwise unwinnable fight while conveniently Neferpitou not doing the same to even the odds.

Nen has the best parts of every other power system. There’s all kinds of unique and varied powers, the system has strict rules but it doesn’t bar any ability from existing, and every ability has a drawback equivalent to its power. It’s just the best in every way
