I love watching Dream Dental's videos. I am 34 and have terrible dental issues. My dental problems have taken a severe toll on my self-esteem and life period. I am not living up to my potential for sure and really shy away from relationships with others because I am so embarrassed because of my teeth. I wish I could have the all on 4 dental implants done, but I financially cannot afford it. If a Genie appeared and told me that I were able to have one wish granted, anything in the world, it would for sure be the all on 4 dental implants.

Had my all on 4 two days ago. I have loads of swelling, bruising and pain. Despite taking the maximum pain meds they did not cover the pain. Constantly iced my face which helped. Far worse than what l thought. Thrilled to have had it done however, so lucky.

I just had a dental implant placed on Monday. I went to work in the afternoon like nothing happened. No bleeding, no pain no discomfort.I do eat well, take a lot of vitamins, high dose of vit C daily. I did not have any pain prior when I had my extraction 7 months ago either, and barely had to change the gauze 4 times the day of the extraction. I don’t take my supplements the day of any procedure.

Clearly, everyone is have been in pain for over a week. So much pain that every morning, it brings me to tears until the painkillers kick in. Today, it is better, but the temporaries don't feel right. Hopefully it all works out.

I feel like this has been the most misleading part of this process. I am had both bridges done 5 days ago and I am still in pain. I can’t understand how someone could go through this and be okay in a couple days.

I had a dental implant just last Friday. I would not say it hurts, but it is more of discomfort rather than painful (again, it also depends on your pain tolerance). Of course, the doctor had prescribed Hydrocodone-Acetain to me for pain control, and it helps. After 3 - 4 days, the discomfort would away. Also, my gum was swollen for at least 4 - 5 days.

Truthfully, you need 2 days of better than Motrin, (something narcotic). After that maybe a day or 2 of Motrin. But for sure something better than Motrin for the first 2 days.

I have severe anxiety and my dentist wants to just do it with numbing me I've had a lot of traumatic experiences with dental work and I kept saying that and they swear the numbing will be enough and it doesn't matter how much they say it I don't want to be fully aware so I think I'm going to have to ask to be sent somewhere that can slightly sedate me or something because the thought of how it's all done is too much for me especially with past experiences.

Oh lordy, he's a miracle man !

BS ! If you go into this expecting little to no pain, you're in for a rude wake up call. I'm a two tour combat vet, shot in the leg, multiple motorcycle/skydiving accidents. I know pain. Wont say I have a high tolerance, but I'm not a pussy either.

On day 4 post surgery, and if it weren't for the ability to "intensify the effects" of the hydrocodone with whiskey, I'd be climbing out of my skull right now.

On a 1-10 scale, my pain level has been a solid 8-9 for two days if I didn't take meds. With meds, it's a good 4-5, but then I can't drive because of the loopy feeling the meds give.

Reluctantly took a week off of work (pressured from wife to take time off), and I'm glad I did. If I went in like this, I'd fire every damn one of them within a day or so...

Plan for pain. Plan to take time off. If you are lucky enough to be one of this guys miracle patients, then good for you, but I personally call bullshit...

that swelling is no joke. i slept sitting up for a week. the throbbing in my head alone was overwhelming. luckily it only lasted a week, but yeah i can’t imagine having your skull bones drilled into and NOT having some pain afterward. that almost sounds wrong😂 lucky, but wrong lol.

Every day of the process is followed by pain for up to a week. There are many visit. Take Motrin before each visit and around the clock for many days after.

I just went thru all on 6 upper and lower...the pain after was extreme..10 hrs in the chair. My face is swollen up bad..the temporary teeth are so uncomfortable. I couldnt eat or sleep for 48 hrs, the blood was draining into my stomach and made me so nautious that I threw up. 3 days later and I can eat mashed potatoes and yogurt and apple sauce...I don't regret getting it done but I had no idea it would be this hard.

The jaw bone has no soft tissue above it does but the surgeon numbs that minutes tops for procedure
Keep your mouth clean to help prevent infection after the procedure

I was in horrible pain for a week because I can't take Tylenol or Motrin. I couldn't eat for nearly 2 weeks and lost 8 lbs. Had I known that I wasn't going to be given anything for pain from this particular dentist before the surgery I would've waited until I moved to a big city. I was quite ill just before the surgery but the dentist insisted that I had to get it done asap. And to add insult to injury, the results are not what I hoped for. Still have some trouble with speech and the tops and bottoms don't align well. I still cannot bite food and have to resort to cutting everything up. And he tells me it's all my teeth's fault not his. He has recommended speech therapy after I spent over $40K. Uh, no I don't think so. The only thing left to do if he won't fix the misalignment is to trash him in reviews I guess.

That was not the case with me either I have a high pain tolerance I only take pain meds for major surgery. I really wish I had been a little more prepared for the pain and the swelling that was going to come . I had six implants placed on top and 4 on bottom it will be at least 4 months before they place the bridges . This is not a cake walk be aware of that ! In the end I know it will be well worth it . However unless you have had it done you have no idea what it feels like .

I just got my top done yesterday and they didn’t offer IV sedation and they had 1 can of nitrous and I never felt it…… I felt everything and it was a nightmare. Affordable Dentures and Implants is making me regret this whole procedure and spending $20, 000….. I’m freaking miserable

If I still have most of my teeth but they fall apart from the gums down, how would this work? Do I have to come in prior to have my teeth removed first then wait for my gums to heal before getting implants etc? Thanks
