During a speech in Warsaw, Poland, Biden addressed the West’s growing tensions with Russia by calling Putin “a dictator” who “cannot remain in power.” A White House official released a statement saying his comment wasn’t about regime change, but about Putin not exercising power in the Ukraine. Well, as with several other statements from this guy, Secretary Blinken has ‘corrected’ this to say the US has no strategy of regime change in Russia. And his remarks to the US soldiers about what they’d see in Ukraine? That was also ‘clarified’ to ensure the 82nd Airborne was not going to be deployed to Ukraine. It’s no wonder his handlers wish he’d stick to reading the prepared script.
