James Allan talks about Experience of Care week 2021

Experience of Care Week is an international campaign that celebrates the excellent work happening to keep improving experiences of care for patients, families, carers and staff.

This is a fantastic opportunity to highlight the great ideas being suggested; as well as recognising those staff who are making changes for the better for our patients. At KGH we've been focusing on what has been implemented at KGH over the past 12 months.

James explains more about Experience Of Care week in this short video.

While visiting restrictions have been place, we've introduced Virtual Visiting as a way to keep patients and families connected.

To date over 4000 visits have taken place.

This is just one way that we've improved patient experience at our hospital.
