IMHO, the silver-faced Pioneer gear pretty well defines all that was good during "The Stereo Wars" years of the 1970s.
I currently own (and enjoy) seven pieces, mostly restored. When people hear this for the first time, and find out that this equipment is 50 years old, they are amazed.
Currently listening to the UHQR version of Steely Dan`s "Aja" LP.
