THANK YOU for what you said about telemarketers. I had to do that for years after my divorce just to feed my children! It was nearby and got paid better based on our rank so it was literally EVERYTHING for us to live on with no vehicle.

After I was discharged from the US Navy, I briefly was a telemarketer. I was let go because when the callee said no, I just thanked them for their time and hung up. LOL

I'm sorry, I won't be nice to the telemarketer who calls me everyday at exactly 5 minutes to 8 when I'm about to sit down and watch TV, from the same company, most of the time the same person, asking me if I want to sign up for a credit card. This happened to me for over a month every single day. At the time I was going to school and had a dial-up connection which goes back awhile. Eventually I got so sick of it and I tried being a polite initially, I ripped them a new one and told them I was going to report them to whatever government agency would listen to me

Mike Rowe is a saint in his own right I was a welder for a ship builder and repair diving head first into the bowels of a ship to weld a hole the size of an oversized silver dollar and burning my clothes off etc was a bit rough
