This entire playlist in an anthem for kids that grew up on internet culture. The internet isn't a physical place but sometimes when I think back to when I was a kid it sure felt real. All of these songs were used in everyone's edgy Oc speedpaint, I think the only thing that's missing from this playlist is either BVB or Fallout Boy, but I also know that wasn't apart of everyone's childhood.
I feel like I've watched every big fandom start within the past decade. MLP, Monster High, FNAF, UnderTale, Hazbin Hotel, it continues to blow my mind how these things that felt like they'd never leave the small corner of the web we comforted ourselves with in the dark moment of our lives. Truly, what a weird time to be alive.

I used to be the weird kid that would growl at people and read instead of making friends. I did that cause I had, at the time undiagnosed, social anxiety. But then in 7th grade I had the same classes with the only 3 people I could confidently start a concert with. Those three people though, got along with everyone else so that's how I managed to beat a big hurdle: being in crowds. Now I just started high school and am comfortable around almost all of my grade. I lowkey let go hiding the weird part of me tho cause I just stopped giving a sh!t.

Nya, that moment when you realize that ten years have passed since 2011.

in 2011 I was nostalgic for the 90's and 2000's and now I'm starting to have it for the 2010's. This is wonderful, fascinating and terrible at the same time O.O

At that time I was full of energy and enthusiasm for my new adventures in college. I believed that I could finally learn specifically about the subjects I loved, with classmates and teachers who shared my same tastes. I was so innocent! TT.TT If only I had known how things would be I would have fled without looking back.
