Those trees with the yellow flowers are Tabebuia trees, but most people call them yellow trumpet trees. Al that nature and the buildings with pastel colors are a feast for the eyes, especially with that gorgeous weather. I've only been in Miami once, for a global campaign shoot with celebs- first we stayed for a week in the hotel of Gloria Estefan (forgot the name) and then we moved to The Shore Club (is that the name? It has a Nobu) where they gave us a 2 bedroom suite with ocean views. Good times!

Everything from Rosetta Bakery is delicious. Especially the freshly squeezed orange juice.
There's another location on Collins Ave between 9th and 10th street and that one is even nicer with more shade and its a 2 story building.

I’ve been to South Beach twice, August 1982 to catch my honeymoon Caribbean cruise and July 2011 during a 6 hour layover flying back to California from Turks and Caicos. Both times experienced absolutely BRUTAL humidity - down right UNLIVABLE, especially in 2011, but experienced and fell in love with Cuban cuisine which sadly DOES NOT EXIST in the central San Joaquin valley of California. We do however have THE BEST Mexican food on Earth, even better than in Mexico.
