CREED 3 Movie Review

Creed III is a 2023 American sports drama film directed by and starring Michael B. Jordan (in his feature directorial debut) from a screenplay by Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin. The film is the sequel to Creed II (2018), the third in the Creed series, and the overall ninth installment in the Rocky film series. It also stars Tessa Thompson, Jonathan Majors, Wood Harris, Florian Munteanu, and Phylicia Rashad. This is the first film in the series without Sylvester Stallone starring as Rocky Balboa, though he still serves as a producer, as does the first film's director, Ryan Coogler.

Creed III had its world premiere in Mexico City on February 9, 2023, and was released by United Artists Releasing in the United States and Warner Bros. Pictures internationally on March 3, 2023. The film received generally positive reviews from critics.

Gonna watch this again Tommorrow. In the Rocky/Creed universe it's right in the middle of my rankings & just for creed movies it's in the middle being slightly better than 2 but not 1

Really Creed 3 better than Rocky? Don’t get me wrong Creed 1 & 2 are great but Rocky 1 is better.

That’s just my opinion.

I’ll have to check out Creed 3 when it comes out on Dvd.

I want to review all the Rocky movies before I watch Creed 3

Great review as always Brando! You liked this one a little more than I did, there were some creative / visual choices toward the end that took me out of it a bit and turned down the intensity for me. But definitely still a really solid entry in this franchise!

Glad you love the movie. I actually really enjoyed it. However, my critical brain started kicking in after watching it. And it wasn’t its own fault because everything you said about this was absolutely true. But there was just a few moments where I was taken out of it specifically the climactic ending which to mini is probably going to be leaves and bones above what they really wanted but for me I was just to totally take it out of it for long enough to lower My phone score
