Just saw Creed 3 last night my audience loved it. That scene Grace is referencing, I absolutely loved. It was anime-inspired and it brought me back to when I used to compete as a wrestler. Just you and your opponent nothing else mattered. That made me tear up a little

"That part" in the final fight worked for me. It made things personal & was the pinch of surreal the movie needed for Creed 3 to stand independently from every other boxing movie in the past.

I LOVED the boxing scene where it was just Creed and Dame with no audience. It showcased that these two men were at war with one another regardless of the environment around them. It was magic.

I'm guessing Grace is referring to the backlit duel scenes in the trailer and yes that is a classic anime/ comic book/ old school fantasy trope that tunes out the rest of the world as if no one else exists in that moment except for them.

In a very similar fashion, The Fast films used to do the Nos lightspeed tunnels but they stopped.

That part worked for me, loved it . I loved the whole movie to be honest . Johnathan majors and Michael b Jordan killed it, they have amazing chemistry . The acting in this film is top notch . Majors has arrived

At 6:19 the fact that these three are the same person is absolutely amazing, what a talented guy. He brings a distinct uniqueness to every role.

I agree with everyone on here about the end scene Grace was referring to. I thought that created a different perspective than what is normally seen in boxing movies. I knew exactly what MBJ was trying to say when it felt like it was only Adonis and Damien.

Big Rocky fan here. I purposely didn’t watch Creed 1 & 2 when they came out in the theatre because l wanted to watch the trilogy very close together. Just watched Creed 1 last week ( on Amazon prime ) & loved it, in a few days l’ll watch Creed 2 & then hop in the theatre to watch Creed 3 all in the space of 2 weeks. Can’t wait.

The moment "that" scene popped up, I knew exactly what you were talking about. However, I loved it. It was definitely a BOLD choice. But by now (checks notes) the NINTH Rocky-verse movie, we've seen regular fights presented in every way possible. This was a choice that made me sit up and take notice. It was different and creative and added to the drama of the moment.
