Dutch living in the UK here. This is my everyday life... I got 20+ teas, English hubby got one big box of Tetley. 😂

I remember seeing a black tea called English Breakfast and wondering why someone would name a tea that way. That explains it.

The Englishmen went to the wrong place in Germany 😅 In Ostfriesland the people drink more black tea than England. With milk and sugar, if someone want to.

My daughter had a grandmother that was British and I learned from her variety is the spice of life. She always started her day and ended it with English breakfast tea but during the day she would have different flavors. I personally drink three different types of tea three different times a day.

the brits should check out East Frisia. If that region were a country it'd beat the UK in the tea consumed per capita. AND we only drink black tea here. with cream. and Kluntje!

I worked with remote tribal peoples in brazil. They were so enamoured of my tea with milk and sugar cultural leanings that they would turn up at national assemblies requesting just this, saying "we have an English nurse you know"

“Builders, milk and two” the classic recipe for tea. And four cups??? I have three mugs while I decide what to have for breakfast 😂😂

I'm american but I truly appreciate a nice hot cup of tea, with milk and sugar, english or irish breakfast, store brand black tea, its always a treat, maybe some earl Grey if I'm feeling trekey. I love a nice sweet iced tea too, and chia is so comforting. 🍵 ☕️ 🫖 🧋

My new favorite type is liquorice root tea. Tried to stop drinking tea with sugar and this one is the best without anything added,

I am german and I can tell you. Milk, or even better some heavy cream in your tea, be it earl grey, black tea or chai (Not fruity ones tho) Is INSANELY Tasty.

I have no idea why fruit and herb infusions are called tea? You might as well as call them coffee, as they contain just as much coffee as they do tea (i.e. none).

The stuff called black tea (that you can buy in some German supermarkets is awful! After drinking some, I realised why most Germans drink coffee.

Luckily, you can buy PG Tips, Tetley's, and Yorkshire Tea in most Asian supermarkets in Germany.

What the Brits are drinking is tea, what we Germans call tea are mostly tisanes that don't contain any actual leaves from the tea plant, or flavored teas.
