My gosh I haven’t finished Trials of Apollo yet but the first book was enough to make me literally love Apollo! also be VERY sympathetic because, yes, he very much so needed to be humbled- but also ZEUS WTF?!
Like seriously first book and he’s already better then probably all the other gods except maybe Artemis-
Ya’ll can try to deny it but he actually realized and genuinely felt guilty about not being in his children’s lives- that’s like 10 steps up from most of the other gods aside from maybe Hades who treated Nico and Hazel quite well, at least later- and Artemis obviously has no children but the Hunters are similar to her daughters so, ya know-

Trials of Apollo is my favourite book series but I have to be honest, It took me a while to get into them. I found the first book a bit boring and hard to read but by the time I got to the second book I was reading like crazy. I wasn’t really interested in the fact that they seven were back but it was a nice bonus. I think the reason I started to like it more is because Rick himself got more into writing about the wonderful Lester Papadolous/Apollo which made me more interested in the entire thing! 10/10 series for me!

So Like, 30 minutes ago I read about Jason's death and the scene was just... I'm applauding Riordan. He so well used the emotion of the characters in the moment. Apollo's development to killing others (as a god) for his pleasure, to sacrificing himself to save his friends... wow. Suicide isn't exactly middle school appropriate, but who cares? And the whole death was... I can't say there were physical tears, but there were emotional. We love you Jason. Your sacrifice is not in vain.

ToA is my fav so I would give 9.5 for plot. 10 for main characters. 10 for side characters. 10 for ships

I think main characters are a 10/10 mostly because of Apollo and Meg ‘s development throughout the series

Me personally, I just really really didn’t like this series. I just don’t care for the characters or anything about most of them.
That’s just me, albiet Jason RIP.

The ending was so good i cried, definitely a 10/10 series for me. 🫶🏻 The writing was also so gooood! And i love Apollo’s and Meg’s friendship smmm! The only thing that broke me was… Jason’s death… i cried my eyes out😭😭
