This Hooded Eyes Makeup Tutorial for mature eyes shows you a step-by-step way to make your hooded eyes look bigger and more beautiful. In this video I give a simple, detailed demonstration on how to apply eye shadow in the correct place to avoid making your eyes look more tired or heavy.

If you’re over 50 like me, you’ll know for sure that our faces change a lot as we age. This means that old makeup habits we used in our 30s and 40s usually don’t work as well when we hit our 50s. In fact, sticking to old makeup habits can be very aging. As women over 50 we need to learn new ways to apply makeup so we are confident about creating an enhanced version of ourselves.

Using makeup correctly when you are over 50 really can give you the power to wear makeup and feel fabulous.

I hope you enjoy this makeup application video especially for hooded eyes. Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions on other beauty topics you’d like me to cover. 💖

I found your channel recently. Am really enjoying your content with helpful techniques and tips! You are beautiful and your presentations are straightforward, which I like. 😊 I noticed you didn't use an eyeshadow primer. Is this your preference or did you apply it off camera?

Love your videos. I’m wondering how you give a lift to hooded eyes that starting to look more down turned on the outer edge.

Can you do a hooded eye application with cream eye shadow?

Although I’m seeing a slight shimmer immediately under your brows, I didn’t see or hear how you did that. I thought at first the “highlights” were coming from the first shadow you applied, but then remembered you said in another video that using shimmer is not recommended except for in the very center low mobile part of the eyes. So, is it okay to place shimmer just under the brow and, if so, how? I love your videos and appreciate your taking the time to do them, so please don’t feel I’m insulting you or your videos in any way. I just feel maybe a more thorough, from the very beginning to the complete finish, as in- do you use/recommend a primer, how to do the brows, mascara- curling lashes, how many coats, etc., in one video would be tremendous helpful. I understand those are covered in other videos, however, I’m new to your channel and having to stop to search for the correct placement, technic for each step of application just on my eyes is incredibly time consuming. Again, I appreciate what you’re doing and very much enjoy your videos. Thank you for all you do.
