I wish they would use models that actually have hooded eyes when doing tutorials for hooded eyes. I get that you’re showing where to apply the shadow as if the eyes were hooded but I think it’s much easier to understand and the results are more realistic when you’re working with hooded eyes.

Wow, this is very similar to how I do it! Always works on hooded downturned eyes.
I have low eyebrows, which means that there's very little space between my eye and my brow. The TIME and precision it takes me to calculate up to where blend the eyeshadow is hard sometimes, but it's always worth it, as long as it's well done.

I do that. Its a life saver with open eyes. But when i blink or am looking downwards it looks like i have a ton of eyeshadow applied
