I'm really disappointed in Nissan with how they've neglected the 370Z. My dad had two, a base model, and then upgraded to a Touring with the Sport Package. While a great driving car in terms of a sports car, it's very easy to see why the car doesn't sell anymore. Everything about it is so old, outdated, and way behind where the rest of the market is. The electronics and infotainment system especially exaggerate this. It's a shame really because it could be a much better car if they would have updated it more or come out with a new gen Z. The car also has a crazy amount of road noise that I've never heard in any other car which makes driving longer distances in it annoying. They've put the car on the back burner for so long that I have a feeling that all of the rumors of a new Z are false and they'll just discontinue it in the near future. Shame.

My buddy works for a company that makes a lot of turbo manifolds and turbo housings for big name companies. He's confirmed that Chevy has manifolds that they are making early production runs of that are for a twin turbo V8. Flow rate numbers are around 800-1000 hp. Chevy is keeping it quite (for obvious reasons), but based on the air-flow rates, these are the estimated numbers.

The C8 will eventually have the 4.2L found in the caddy. The turbo set-up will be totally different as will the heads. The hybrid version is the one totalling 1, 000 hp. Probably a couple of years down the road.

Not surprised, that 370Z platform is ancient. You know it's time to retire your sports roadster when it's getting killed in performance by a Honda Civic.

Hey Matt, thanks for the shout out on the twin turbo's for the C8 Z06. The guy was on the design team for the C7 Z06 Supercharger and helped me understand what should be the fix for my 2017 Z06 going into "limp mode" at the WannaGoFast in Ocala, FL a couple of weeks ago. He has worked on the C8 and I believe he's spot on with the twins on the C8 Z06. He also said the car would be "sick"!!! Enjoyed the video and gave it a like and subbed. Thanks!!
