Sometimes you have to live in a different country to realize and value what you left behind!

The incompetence and corruption that runs through this administration are getting more ridiculous. I feel for people with disabilities not getting the help they deserved. Thank you Beatriz, imagine investing $1000 and receiving $4, 300 in a few days🇬🇧

I left Canada 8 years ago because I was an unappreciated skilled professional. I am now an American citizen living the American dream! Best decision ever!

We applied for PR. Got invitation for my family within 10 months. Landed in GTA in 2016. Stayed there for a one month vacation became PRs. Observed many things and spoken to many of my friends while I was there. Situation was pathetic in a nutshell. Went back to continue my job in Middle East.
For 3 4 years I thought about what should we do. Should we move or not.
Ultimately decided to let go the PR status & not Waste my savings on this PONZY scheme.
Still working in Middle East and in Europe, family shifted back to India purchased a premium apartment a nice car. With our foreign savings I can easily retire in India - I'm still 39!

Best decision ever!!!

It’s been 4 years for me here and I honestly can say I have achieved nothing in my life yet. It scares me when I think I can’t return whatever my parents had invested in me. The fact is you’ll never have a good paying job in Canada being an immigrant. When I say this trust me I mean it. Most you’ll get is a minimum wage job which can make you survive the life here. Taxes are high definitely and what I feel is you’re working to make someone else’s life easier.
(P.S: people who’ve stayed in Canada will understand who I’m implying to)
No one wants to be your freind, scope of socializing is zero coz mostly it’s cold round the year so everyone hardly come out, especially in Northern provinces like Yukon, Saskatchewan, Manitoba.
Healthcare is a joke. If you feel sick and not well and you wanna see a doctor be prepared to wait for hours and hours. I once had stomach infection and I had to wait 5 hours till someone could see me. I asked for painkiller at-least so I could bear the pain but they refused that as well. You might well see someone you love dearly and with whole heart die in-front of you and you could do nothing. (I’ve experienced it myself hence saying)
You’re a lone survivor who’ll always keep fighting.
The only person who can make money here is businesses and high paid jobs which are reserved to Canadians. That’s how Canada’s job market is. Canadians’ first and if there’s something left they’ll look at you. By the amount of money people invest here they can establish a nice business back in their country itself and earn accordingly on own terms.
Most importantly you’ll cut yourself from all emotional supports like family, freinds etc.
I was social person back in India who liked making new freinds and memories but it’s nothing like that here.
And it’s the same life, no different.
You wake up, dress, eat, go to work, come back, eat, sleep. No different.
No fun and nothing. You actually don’t live in present, you live in an expectation of a better tommorow.
You’ll always have a smile when you greet someone but I guarantee you no one’s gonna check on you to if you don’t start a conversation even with a simple “Hi”. Mostly Canadians are nice but again some will systematically judge you and say nothing but you’ll see in their actions, the way they’ll talk in a twisted way etc.
Yes I’m not saying that Canada’s bad or it’s no good but trust me it will take forever to build a life here especially with the number of people moving here from round the world.
If you’re well off financially from back home Canada’s a paradise for you. Indeed it’s a beautiful country with lots of beauty and lots to explore but remember everything comes with a cost here. Everything comes with a cost. People need to stop believing in this fake illusion and come only if they got a purpose here. The only reason why they’ll let you in the country is for money and once you’re in you’ll have to keep spending, doesn’t matter if you’re broke or whatever you have to.
Once I earn I’ll happily give up my PR status and go back to India as i very well know what the situation is how it’s gonna be in future.
So just one piece of advise to every middle class person like me, guys please invest and spend your money wisely coz we know how hard it is to earn and it’s high time Canadians start appreciating what immigrants like us do for them by burning ourselves day and night and start realizing that their past generation once came from some other part of the world as well and settled here. Being white doesn’t make you a nice Canadian, you’re actions defines you more than your words.
90% of this country is built by immigrants and that’s how it’s gonna develop in future, so if they keep treating us the same way good luck to them 🙂.
Also a plus note to anyone thinking that Asians are stealing your jobs, go get outside and have the balls to face them and take it away from them. Staying home and ranting and abusing us that we’re taking your opportunities and blah blah isn’t gonna work. We are so successful round the world because we are hardworking, honest and respectful to everyone. Even if we’re earning minimum and barely surviving here we always make sure we’re not burden on the government or anyone else and won’t keep crying.

A big shoutout to all you guys who came here in the hope of a better future but are still struggling.
Keep hustling and you’ll reach there, if not step down and go back and start your life again on your home soil. There’s no shame in experimenting continuously rather than sitting ideally and crying about future.

All the very best my people and lots of love to you ❣️

Managing money is different from accumulating wealth, and the lack of investment education in schools may explain why people struggle to maintain their financial gains. I personally benefited from the market crisis as I embrace challenging times while others tend to avoid them. Well, at least my advisor does too, jokingly.

I have a valid Copr. I could move to canada today if i wanted. But i have dropped my plan of relocating to Canada. I got the same insight as given in this video from someone living in Canada. When i applied for the PR in 2020, i was not getting good growth in career and was desperate to increase my income. Within a span of 2 years i got good opportunities and my situation changed. I live in gurgaon and making twice of what i was making 3 years ago.

Suddenly the dream and charm of Canada has faded. Our country is much better and only going to progress in the next decade. Upskill and be proud of your land. It will throw immense opportunities in the next decade.

I'm so glad you brought up healthcare. As a Canadian Citizen, I've struggled with this train wreck called healthcare for almost ten years. They just casually let your health deteriorate till you're almost dead, then fix it at the lats minute, only to drop care before you are fully healed, and let you slowly deteriorate again. It's brutal.

The best part of this video is that you guys shared corresponding positive/supporting explanation to the all points why people leave. Great work. Thank you!!

As an immigrant who lives in Canada for the last 15 years, it is very depressing.
The cold is bad and hurt bones. 😞
People are also so cold and not sociable and the economy sucks

My wife was sick and passed out with high fever. Ambulance dropped her at the emergency where she waited around 10 hours and came back home. next day we went to a different hospital in neighbour city but same story and came back after hours of waiting. Next day her family doctor calls her a liar on phone and claims she didn't go to hospitals at all. At that point I lost it and set the record straight with the doctor. Canadian health care system puts 3rd worlds to shame. We are just saving enough money to go back home and get done with this depression. At least we will have a hospital we can get a treatment on time

I've lived here all my life and I vouch that these folks are giving very good, practical advice. To those who move here willingly, please do your homework as this couple so aptly point out. For those fleeing dire circumstances or not really having much choice, please try to be aware as much as you can about the specific location you are moving to or being settled temporarily in. Thanks.

I’ve been here for 6 years and it’s been mostly negative with some positives in between. Everything you both said are so spot on, it’s not sustainable in terms of growing future wealth, or in terms of socializing with people or even mental health, rent, buying a home and so on and on. That said I will be leaving Canada in March 2023 and heading back to the Middle East. I don’t want to live out the rest of my life regretting the time I lost but Canada has been an eye opening experience for me. It’s just not worth it in the long run.

My Dad moved us from England to Canada in 1965. It took him 6 months to get my mom and us here. He had a sponser and was a miner etc basically slave labor. My mom cried when we got here in the winter. I wish we moved to Australia. Now I have kids and grandchildren so that's why I live here. I'm still treated as an immigrant.

If you are well settled in India/Pakistan.. Have good social life then moving to Canada isn't worth it... Life is damn difficult here... Things are expensive like crazy.. specially house rents..get ready to work two jobs just to get by.. Even after that it's impossible to save any money... Weather is kind of depressing... You might enjoy snowfall for couple of months but with time grey weather become frustrating and takes toll on your mental health..
I really hope our Indian subcontinent gets developed so no one have to leave their home country where weather and culture everything is so colourful and full of life..

I just recently moved to Canada and also have opened my youtube channel and I agree with the things you pointed. First yes, competition on the job market here is extremely high also it is extremely cold and windy! I am from Eastern Europe and I thought that I know what cold does mean but not, Canada is a way more colder 😅

As a Canadian born citizen who spent 10 years abroad, I completely agree with all your points! Good video
