Hello there! This is the "Sounds American" channel.
This is an advanced exercise to fine-tune your pronunciation of the American R-colored vowel sounds.
In our previous videos, we made an overview of all the American R-colored vowels and covered each of them in detail.
If you haven't watched these videos yet, make sure you do, because this advanced exercise is going to be more challenging. BTW, you can find relevant links in the description below, as usual.

The next step towards improving your American accent is to practice pronouncing words with two or more R-colored vowel sounds. For example, "furthermore." This word has 3 R-colored vowels, /ɝ/, /ɚ/, and /ɔr/: "furthermore." Now it's your turn.
Was it harder than you thought? But that's exactly the point.
First, you'll have to pronounce lots of R-colored sounds.
Second, you'll have to twist your tongue until you are exhausted :). Just kidding. Or not.

Just wondering why the channel has stopped making videos, the last one was made three years ago. This Channel is probably one of the best on YouTube on American English pronunciation.

I'd say i'm pretty good at english in general, but i had learned it passively through the internet, so i haven't really talked to any native english speaker in my lifetime. Now i'm trying to improve my pronunciation so i can hopefully call myself a fluent english speaker in the future.
