Показать описание
Bursa was Turkey’s old Ottoman capital city from the 14th century and has retained many of its early Ottoman relics and buildings. Today it's a thriving modern city and a huge industrial hub.
As a tourist its a fascinating place of interest with many food specialties, museums, historical mosques and tombs.

It is a much better documentary than all the bursa documentaries made by many bursa origin or Turkish travelers. As a citizen of Bursa, I congratulate you very much for reflecting this city with all its aspects so well.🙏👍👏👏👏👏👑

Fascinating, best Bursa intro! Bursa is an underrated historical city in the world, a gem. Koza Han still has a magical Silk Road atmosphere.. Tombs and the Madrasa transpire tranquility. Ulu Camii is unique, the true "calligraphy cathedral". Apollo & Athena in bronze are priceless, and masterpiece-filled 1326 Conquest museum is top of my list to visit in Bursa now. Looking forward to your Konya video, I'm a big Rumi fan!

Harika bir tanıtım olmuş. Ellerinize saglık. Kendi ülkemizi yabancılardan ögrenmek ve tanımak ne garip. Cennetim Türkiye'm.

Hi Mick Amca and Lovely Trudie,
As an inhabitant of the city It would be unfair to just press the "like button". Your comprehensive coverage deserves much more than that.

I can easily tell that what you've put forth is one of the best and most extensive travel blogs about our city.

Despite the qualities you mentioned in the video, our lovely city is not famous enough abroad to get the attention it well deserves. As one of the viewers mentioned In Turkish you really deserved a gift from the mayor.

By the way İskender Kebap is the fırt and the foremost döner kebab in the world and of course the pioneer and the ancestor of all types of doner kebaps.

Thank you for that amazing coverage again and wish you success on your all adventures... ❤🎉

My father taught at Robert College in Istanbul during the late 60s, and we would visit Bursa and ski at Uludag. It's amazing how much the city has grown . Thanks for the interesting video .

I went to college in Bursa and became an English teacher in 2001, so it is a very special place for me. It is great to see the city again and seeing certain parts of the city unchanged is priceless. I live in the US now and I am so far from it. Thank you so much for sharing it. You made my day.

I have been watching Bursa vlogs for years, but in all of them only the old "city centre" is shown. Nobody talks about Nilüfer.
Because now Nilüfer is the most important and modern district of Bursa that is constantly developing. Thank you very much for introducing Bursa and Nilüfer. Keep going.

Very good video.. Iznik town of Bursa is also a very important and historic place for Christianity where the over 300 bibles reduced to 4 by the Consul of Nikea (now Iznik). Bursa was the religious center in the Roman times. This tradition stil continues. I recommend you to visit the Gölyazı town as well which is in the middle of the ulubat lake, and eat fish there if you like..
