$20 VS $100 POINTE SHOES #pointeshoes

I stopped ballet pretty young because of many reasons, but cost was definitely one of them. I'm glad to see they're finally making more cost effective alternatives. Of course they won't be the best, but at least they are usable! Thanks for sharing this information for other dancers :)

i think the problem with the $20 pointe shoes is the box and shank are weirdly long for your foot, but over all for the price they’re pretty good

Invest in the £100 dollar point shoes especially if you're a professional dont be cheap pointe shoes are just one of those things that u just gotta put alot of money and the type of pointe shoes u get most of the times depends on how well u do on ur performance

Having shoes that don't fit is dangerous and painful. Y'all, always go for proper pointe shoes that are adjusted by a professional. The investment is 100% worth it. Even if you don't dance much, go for them. They can last for WAY longer than you might think if you don't have the regiment of professional ballerinas, so you might just have to buy a few pairs throughout the years.

I bought the ones from Amazon. Sure, they arent perfect but they are great for me since I'm just doing it for fun. It's the same with pencils. Of course, 100$ pencils are gonna be better but as a beginner, 20$ is a great place to start

For the twenty-dollar pair of pointe shoes I would have size down half a size or a full size to make the shoe fit more. I noticed that towards the back of the heel on the shoes you had quite a lot of gapping with fabric that's because the shoe was possibly too large for the foot

I expected the $20 to be terrible but they looked ok! Honestly though, you have such gorgeous feet you probably just made them look gorgeous! I can see the knuckling though in the $20.

i did this and i sewed on elastic ribbon to see if it felt better, and the $20 ones were sooo good that i accidentally went through a 5 hour rehearsal with them on and didn’t even notice 😭😂 idek how they got in my bag😂

As a ballet dancer I could tell that the point shoe has the lowest low vamp I’ve ever seen

But with the 100 dollar point shoes you have to buy multiple a month bec point shoes go bad after a while and that turns into like almost 400 dollars or more a month just to have them
