I absolutely loved this movie. I saw it for the 1st time when it came out in 1983 but was too young to understand it, but my family had watched it together every yr since it came out from VHS-Blue Ray. It's definitely 1 of my favorite pastimes with my family. My dad was the 1 who made it a family tradition & I can still remember his very loud laughter, that shocked everyone in the theater the 1st time we saw it. He'd laugh the same everytime we watched it. Unfortunately he passed in 2021, so it's not the same without his raucous laughter, but we still keep up the tradition, bc he was the very best part of this movie for us

One of the all time best comedies! Love this masterpiece of a movie. Chevy Chase was so funny and is a helluva good physical actor. Brinkley was beautiful, the theme song was good and holy sh!t, John Candy got paid!! Wonder how much chase was paid?!
