do be careful when knapping using things like obsidian, it may be brittle like glass, but it sure is sharper than it too.

I have obsidian at my house, but it’s not sharp probably because it doesn’t have pointed edges, but if I were to break that into a sharp piece, I think I would be cut immediately

Maybe a bit too late, but put the cut in tap water (guessing its clean). Please use biogaze ( I dont know if thats a thing in Australia) which will heal the cut, and put a bandaid over the biogaze.
