I have burning questions because of one fundamental confusion ( not related to this video ) - How does using a streaming device such as the Nvidia shield over HDMI input change the picture quality when compared to the source being on the native OS. For eg if I use the Netflix app on the os vs a streaming device. Especially with the Nvidia shield, you have Dolby vision and hdr 10 output + some ai enhancements. So I am a little confused as if we are still utilizing the prowess of X1 Ultimate / LG A( gen 2 ) when we use these external Inputs. If Nvidia shiel ( or any other ) device has native Dolby vision processing will it change the picture you get on Sony A9g ?

Great point there 28:40 - 29:30. 4k resolution in 2019 is still more than good enough, it's image artifacts that's the real bottle neck

Great job as always guys!👍 I would definitely take the C9 over the Sony but that's only personal preference as I like the pop and colors on the c9 as I feel they are more vibrant even though the Sony is nore natural and accurate I still prefer the look of the Lg. Thank you for your hard work guys!

I bought the 77” C9. I watch mostly Verizon fios cable tv, sports hbo, showtime Netflix I don’t game that much. Maybe 1 hour every other day. People are saying the A9G is 100 times better. They say the A9G colors are better motion is way better upscaling blows it away and it as a more 3D look to it. Is this true? Should I exchange the C9 and get the A9G? Please need help ASAP. I have to go back today to do it. Thank you.

Love the reviews you guys do. Please tell me how the white levels compare to lg which I find personally have a blue hue. Please advise a television for me out of the q90r and an oled. Im really struggling to decide.

LG ruined my B6 with an update that makes the black glow. The upscaling sucks and the motion sucks. I'm ready for a Sony. Before OLED, I was happiest with a Sony LED.

How is LG C9 motion comperd to sony are they close?

for the same money C9 vs A8G for someone that uses the TV for Console gaming and streaming content from netflix/disney/amazon prime with minimal blue ray use. Which would you all recommend and why? Console is a Xbox one X so I would use VRR and plan on purchasing both next gen offerings next fall.
