Jabra rebranded Lively and I’m very satisfied with the results of my online hearing test. My Jabra Enhance ric hearing aids have no occlusion as do reports on the Jabra Plus earbuds. ❤️

When will you be doing Best OTC for 2024. I am faced with getting hearing aids and I’m so confused about everything that is out there. I’m not paying $6000 per prescription when I don’t need it. Thanks

I was really surprised you didn’t include Lively as they offer the Resound one mk.5 as their Lively 2 pro aids. I have them and they are outstanding

Will they also be available in Canada?

I have the Apple AirPods Pro. They work great, but are not comfortable enough for me to wear for over an hour or so. Also, the battery life when using in transparency mode is maybe 3 hours. Are RIC style hearing aids more comfortable?

I’m 41 and being told I need hearing aids for my mild hearing loss and tinnitus. The prescription devices were going to be $7K. I can’t afford that even with great insurance. It’s pretty depressing.

Are there any plans for Sennheiser to enter the hearing aid market considering they are owned by Sonova now?

What do you think about hidden hearing loss? People with Normal audiogram but still have trouble hearing, especially in noise.

The Sontro is a very innovative hearing aid. Using the hearing device for an initial hearing test and then the Sontro adjusts the amplification curve is brilliant! They indicate a MSRP less than $1, 000 and if the build quality is perfect and have a great design of the domes....This is the winner. I saw an interview with the two founders and I was impressed. I can test a set for free if you send me one! 🤣😇

Thanks for the heads up on the OTC aids. When do you think we can expect that these will start hitting the stores? I was thinking about buying a pair of Apple earpods pro but now thinking I maybe should wait a few months. I currently own eargo neo hifi.

Good review Cliff, and I too wouldn't bet against APPLE as they dominate in every market they're in especially the cell phone market! I think you left out LIVELY, they seem to already have some traction. And SONOVA if I'm not mistaken owns PHONAK so yes, they're a player for sure in the OTC race!
