I am not Scottish, not even British. Yet I love this music. It is happy and touching at the same time.

Truly one of the most beautiful sounds ever. The sound of bagpipes and drums makes people stop and appreciate their heritage. Could listen to it everyday. Gives me goosebumps.

When our music, our culture and our national dress is embraced and celebrated by people around the world we feel that it's being appreciated, not appropriated. Slainte mhath to the world. It's always a great day to be a Scot; if only for a day!

How beautiful!!! Since I was a little girl there has never been a time that my heart and soul didn't truly soar the moment when I would here the pipes and drums.
I grew up being told I was mostly Italian, Portuguese and Irish.
Through DNA I recently found out that not only am I Scottish but its the biggest percentage. I truly believe that somewhere in the deepest part of me has known this always..
So now not only does my heart and soul soar it also brings tears to these blue eyes.
From the bottom of my heart thank you for this post, it was wonderful!

To a Scotsman, the sound of the pipes and drums makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up and it gives you a lump in your throat

Oh, I love this sound so much. Gives me goosebumps.
My wife says it's like a gang of meowing cats, then I say she doesn't understand.
With love from the Čech Republic 🇨🇿 and stay healthy everybody 😷.

Have traced my Scottish roots back to at least 1044; prior to this date little if anything was written down. The sound of bag pipes and Scottish drums surely makes my heart beat stronger! Spent 100 days just below the Scottish border and it felt like my true home!

Great to see people from both the white and the black communities making music together like this. As a Scot, that warms my heart!

Everything about this is wonderful. I love seeing younger people getting involved in pipe and drums, no sexual discrimination, no discrimination in any sense. This is a beautiful moment. It literally brought tears to my eyes.
