It brings me great joy knowing that that's his ACTUAL laugh.

"I worry what you just heard was 'give me a lot of oak and cherry'. What I said was, 'give me all the oak and cherry you have.'"

Nick makes his jokes and watches the humourless host not react as he doesn't get them. You can see where Ron Swanson comes from. But its a real pleasure to see Nick as he is and so engrossed and passionate about woodworking. Top man

"the less electricity you can use - the more pleasurable your woodworking will be" Wise words for sure!

Nick, thank you for those few carefully chosen words that resemble the joy and calmness of woodworking.

Kevin needs a sense of humor, so many dry jokes that go right over his head. Lol

7:46 Mr. Offerman lets Ron Swanson out. Looks at the camera, gives a classic eye raise to say "Where did you get this guy?" Haha! The piano and hakuna matata jokes are gold!

I love how Nick looked up from time to time to see if his jokes were landing. The man is one of a kind.

I want Nick Offerman to read and narrate everything.

I love how Nick Offerman can keep a totally straight face while delivering such dry, pithy humor. Plus his advice was helpful for a beginner. A good reminder to keep it simple and not bite off more than you can chew. I would LOVE to make one of those giant slab tables, but I know that's way too ambitious at this point. I've learned a lot just making little projects like a bookshelf from pine planks (FYI, 12 inch pine from HD that's not totally dry will cup a *lot*. That's how I learned to use a hand planer lol.). I can always see the flaws in anything I make, but it's still more solid and unique than a piece of particle board stuff from IKEA, and hey, even if it's not perfect it does its job of holding books just fine:)

SO great! Love that Nick spends time teaching his passion and obviously loves what he does. Great intro to woodworking. I would take his course in a second!
