. Star Delta Motor Starter Circuit is one of the most commonly used motor starter circuit for motors above 10KW. In star delta starter initially motor is run in star configuration and then after 20-30 seconds delay motor is shifted to delta connection. In star delta starter motors starting inrush current is reduced by 1/3.

Three contactors are used for the starter delta motor starter and we discussed in details about the star delta starter control circuit.
