Nickel Hunt and Fill #100 - My Favorite Boxes
I've decided to try and complete the second nickel coin roll hunting series books to see how many bank boxes it takes to fill the entire Dansco Album for Nickels dated 1938-1998. There are 136 slots to fill in Series 2 Books and the mission is to BEAT the 167 boxes it took for Series 1.
This is part 100 of the series (Boxes 72-73 for Series 2) and I do plan on updating it from each nickel box I hunt from this point forward until the nickel coin collection is completed! It may be a little tougher due to the sheer amount of uncirculated nickel boxes we keep getting but I will keep trying!
I love getting thee type of boxes since they are my favorite for nickels!
Can We Find them? That elusive 1950 D Nickel and the tough 1939 S Nickel?

FYI - The Dansco Album does not have spots for some coins but we'll be hunting these boxes of nickels for Silver Nickels, Buffalo Nickels, Proof coins, Old Jefferson Nickels (namely semi-key and key date nickels), Liberty V Nickels and 2009's for their low mintage.
Let's keep our fingers crossed and our eyes open for some valuable Nickels!

Through 100 nickel hunts in this series you have found 3 liberty V nickels and 63 buffalo nickels of which there were 32 unique date - mint combinations. I'll e-mail you a list.

Congratulations on finding 4 war nickels and other finds I found a clad 79 s proof quarter and a silver 1956 silver dime and ten nickels in a row of nickels from 40s and some 50s thanks for sharing Rob
