Oh what a confirmation of a teaching I learned about some years ago whilst I was in Mozambique. My aha moment came by the understanding of doubt. That is our main stumbling block. The holy spirit is our helper so ask and it shall be given, ask the Holy spirit to teach you how to "believe" that will remove doubt and clear your path too understanding. Stop focusing on your sin and zero in on the finished work of Christ. By His stripes you are healed, your sins are forgiven by the shedding of His blood, He became sin that you might be called the righteousness of God in Christ and redeemed you from the curse. Now ask the Holy spirit to help you walk in that truth and seal it in your heart. It changes everything. It reminds me of a song we used to sing when I was a baby Christian, In Him we live and move and have our being.

Everything you are talking about finally came to fruition for me on Pentecost, '24 with a Psalm 51 miracle! As I got out of my bed that morning, I looked down to the floor and there I saw the top half of my body was all lit up! I felt so VERY CLEAN. Whiter than snow. I was so in awe & happy. After I kept surrendering, not sure if I felt like a new person. There it was! Praise God. He is my everything! ❤❤😊😊

Disagree with the idea that therapy isn’t a good thing, it’s not all of the answer but it’s part of the answer. If you grew up in a chaotic, violent, abusive environment you understand that walking back through your trauma accompanied by Jesus who is the ultimate freedom in me brings a depth of peace and resolution I didn’t know existed before. This message today reminds me of the superficial type of approach to inner healing I experienced in an AG church when I first came to the Lord. I was supposed to be ok bc someone prayed for me and any unresolved memories, emotions were unimportant. Thank God i became Catholic charismatic where I moved past the “name it and claim it” approach I initially experienced salvation in. Don’t find this message helpful. 🤷‍♂️
