This Is What’s Holding You Back From Brilliance
Показать описание
Color within the lines. Sit down. Give it back.
On the SUCCESS Live stage in Long Beach, Simon T. Baily recalls the typical upbringing. He describes a time of discipline that prepares children to enter society successfully, to assimilate along a well-worn path. At this point in life, there are a lot of no’s, with a gentle reminder that the best dreams are realistic.
But if this mindset still clings to you in adulthood, Bailey says it’s time to make a U-turn. The uninhibited brilliance we wielded as children still exists. We just have to get back to it, shifting our brilliance toward experiences that celebrate the individual.
“It’s not who you are that holds you back from brilliant success,” Bailey says. “It’s who you think you’re not that holds you back. And sometimes we focus on who we think we’re not instead of who we are.”
