I tried to read the invisible life of addie larue because the description was really interesting, but i couldn't read more than 90 pages because i got really bored of how slow it was going, i felt guilty because of my lack of patience but i'm kinda happy it wasn't just me

Yes Jane Eyre is rather slow, but I actually love it. It is definitely not for everyone, but to me, it holds a lot of emotion without stressing you out. Just my opinion though!

try Good Omens yes it takes 500 pages to get trough 3 days or so but its paces so well and the humor charachters everything is sooo good
