Works neatly if it doesn't work for you maybe try checking your observer's directions.

I need help! I think I replicated the exact setup you show near the end, but sometimes whenever I flick the lever to open the door, one block gets pushed all the way to the top! Do you know how I can fix this, and what might the cause of it be?

I don't know what I did wrong, but the door only works 75% of the time sometimes it works, but sometimes there is a random block at the top.
