Before You Buy an Infiniti G37!

I supercharged my G37, it almost killed me. I lost all respect for how fast it was. It was a safe vehicle, beautiful and the nicest car I’ve ever owned.

It sounds good. People just cheap out and get straight pipes no cats and all..
Save a little get yourself a quality exhaust (developed with sound engineers which contributes to the cost).

Have a q50 3.7 with an ark catback and motordyne test pipes. Sounds absolutely great 6 years later. Still get compliments on the exhaust

I had a Malbec Black G37 IPL 6MT. It was a gentleman's express. Nothing crazy. Stunning when clean. If you didn't beat it like a ghetto scatpack, no reason to believe it wouldn't last a decent amount of time.

The vq37hr came out in 2009. Let’s not forget about the vq35hr now.

You get the right exhaust and it sounds pretty good but it easy to get wrong. Manual Transmission makes it a lot easier

I got my 09 sedan as a first car at 19 back in 2022 and it’s a good reliable first car and did a few mods on it so far and recently I got me a isr single exit exhaust

I daily my 08 G37s coupe 6mt 4was. I love the car. Winter can be a little challenging at times. Anything over 5 or 6 inches it ain't moving even with snow tires. My wife thinks I'm crazy for keeping it and struggling with a car seat but I'm never selling it. Some day it'll be my son's car. It's a rare car with a 6mt and 4 wheel steering. Not sure that it'll ever be a big money car but it'll be mine. Nothing better than a car you love and you own outright.

EX37 is also a perfectly acceptable daily if you find a well-sorted example, highly practical and not far behind on performance

I bought mine 5 years ago from my older sister . 2 years later, takeovers made it look unappealing to me lmao it’s a great car, nothing breaks except the galley gaskets and coupler in the heater core hose. If you’re mechanically inclined it’s pretty intermediate to do the galley gaskets.

2018 Q50 owner here, which is the updated version and kind of bigger brother of the G35/G37. They (Q50s & Q60s) are quick af but a bitch to keep running due to porous blocks & turbocharger issues.
