Fresh from Japan: Hobonichi 2021 Lineup Reveal Event at Shibuya PARCO

I visited the Hobonichi Lineup Reveal Event in Shibuya PARCO's Hobonichi Nichiyoubi on the first day to check out the 2021 techo lineup! And because this year marks its 20th year, there is a special exhibit to showcase the 20 years of Hobonichi Techo.

At the end of the video, I journaled my day using some of the freebies I got from the event. Here are some of the things I used:

2021 will be my first Hobonichi year. You and Kaila kind of inspired me to get into it. I'm hoping to get Aki Kondo's Field of Flowers A5 Cousin cover and book combo set as my first Hobonichi. Until then I've been using the Sakura Moleskine journal. (^o^)/ as a scrapbook/traditional diary experience with washi and stickers.

Thinking of trying Hobonichi Cousin Day-Free in 2021 after I fell behind with Marks weekly during lockdown in 2020. Couldn't get my favorite Kokuyo Campus planner from Jetpens in US after 2019. Thanks for the inspiring video.

Great video! I’ve been using the weeks for the last two years because it’s nice and compact, but I may get the cousin for 2021 because I like the time blocking pages and also the one page per day for all my notes and lists.

You're so lucky you live in Japan and can attend these events! Thanks for showing the items in such detail, I can't wait to place my order. Instead of the planners I'm now using their blank notebooks to journal and scrapbook in. I'm planning to get some Ranma 1/2 items (loved that comic/anime as a kid!) and maybe the Minamo cover. I'm also excited for the collaboration weeks, I'll probably wait and get one of those later. :)

Answering the last question, my journaling style is still quite experimental. 😅 on some days, I'd like writing. Sometimes, i try to draw/ scrapbook. I hope this year, I can stick to a theme in my hobonichi since I'll be doing most of my planning stuff in TN.
